It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Okayama city and to SCIS & ISIS 2010, Joint 5th International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent

conference is held jointly with KIIS (The Korean
Institute of Intelligent Systems) and SOFT (Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Intelligent Informatics), which is
actually the fifth joint conference between the SOFT and KIIS, remembering the first one was held at Tsukuba, October 21-25, 2002. We are sure that your attendance will result in important
technical discussions, and strengthen
your technical expertise. It is now definite that soft-computing techniques such as fuzzy reasoning, neural networks, evolutionary computations, probabilistic reasoning, etc. are playing a fundamental
role to make any intelligent systems relatedto home appliances, manufacturing systems,
and our daily means of transportation.
